Washington Township Board of Education Opening
The Washington Township Board of Education is accepting applications for a Board member to serve a 1-year term from January 6, 2025 through December 31, 2025. All interested parties should send a letter of interest to Todd D’Anna at tdanna@mullicaschools.com by January 3, 2025. Interviews will take place at the next Meeting of the Board of Education.

Traffic Advisory – Green Bank Road, Mullica Township
Beginning at 7 AM on Wednesday, October 30th through late January 2025, Green Bank Road in Mullica Township will be closed between Pleasant Mills Road (CR 643) and River Road (CR 651) for roadway operations. Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Residents within the work zone will have access via Back Road or Green Bank Road within the project limits but will not have access from the Green Bank Bridge side of the project. For a complete list of traffic advisories on or impacting county roadways, visit www.atlanticcountynj.gov where you may also subscribe to receive emails when advisories are issued.

PUBLIC NOTICE: The Bridge on Route 542 – Please be prepared for the detour for approximately 1 year. Route 542 will be closed from the intersection of Loveland Lane and Leektown Road for the replacement of County Bridge H8.31 on Route 542. A detour will be implemented to provide access to local residents/businesses. The detour will be in place for approximately 1 year until construction is complete.

Burlington County Social Services are available on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Bass River Municipal Building, 3 Maple Avenue, New Gretna, NJ. Burlington County Board of Social Services (609) 261-1000. They provide help with food Stamps; medical, etc.
